1. Who We Are

Setlr Technologies operates the setlr mobile app and website at setlr.money. We help people track personal loans and financial obligations. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

2. Information We Collect

We collect your name, phone number, and username when you sign up. We collect financial records you create like loan amounts, due dates, and repayment history. We collect device push tokens to send you reminders. If you import documents, we collect those files temporarily for data extraction. We never collect card numbers or bank credentials.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to run setlr: tracking loans, sending reminders, generating certificates, and building your Trust Score. Your phone number is used only for OTP login. Imported documents are processed to extract data you asked for and deleted right after. We never sell your data. We never use it for ads.

4. Data Sharing

We share your name and confirmation status with your loan counterparty since that is core to how setlr works. If your Trust Passport is public, your name, username, score, and repayment stats are visible to anyone with your link. Loan certificates show lender name, borrower name, amount, and status to anyone with that link. We share data with Supabase for database hosting and for OTP delivery, both under data processing agreements.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. Loan records stay permanently unless you delete them since they are shared records between two people. Imported documents are deleted within 24 hours of processing. If you delete your account, your profile is removed promptly. Shared loan records may be kept in anonymised form.

6. Your Rights

You can access all data we hold about you. You can correct anything that is wrong. You can delete your account anytime from Profile > Settings > Delete Account. You can export your data as a CSV. For any data requests, email us at support@setlr.money and we will get back to you.

7. Security

All data travels over TLS encryption. Your records are protected by Row Level Security so only you can access your data. We use OTP login only and never store passwords. We review our security regularly.

8. Children

setlr is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you think a minor has an account, email support@setlr.money and we will remove it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when needed. We will let you know about big changes via push notification. Continuing to use setlr after changes means you accept the updated policy.
